MILAGROS II

At times it felt as if I was playing tricks on my mind
or living on a dream,
but when I found myself
-at last-
in perfect silence,
I could hear the truth
of the world that walks inside me.
And everything made sense.
Unafraid of messing with fate,
I looked for you around the earth.
And when I finally saw you,
walking towards me,
you seemed
-to me-
like a gift of heaven
because realizing you are inside a body is heaven to me.
I felt the scent of you and the fluent movements
of your arms wanting my body,
and I forgot my name,
but I remembered how strongly
I have always wanted to walk next to you
-endlessly-.
And when you looked into my eyes
as if everything that is yet to come was already happening,
time returned to the beginning
as if we were nothing
as if we were everything
as if we were One.
